Film Fervor Wiki
One of the things I’ve noticed, which should be addressed, is that a lot (most) indie films don’t have their own Wiki pages.
A Wiki is a collaborative page with crowd-sourced information about a particular topic.
The goal of the Film Fervor Wiki is to provide a place where filmmakers, cast, and crew can come and add relevant information about their productions in a dedicated independent film environment.
The premise is simple: Add your film (it can be in any state of development) to the Wiki page and share information about your production. Provide facts about your film, the story, the production, locations, fundraising (you can add a link to your fundraisers, if applicable), and official website links.
There is no cost to the Wiki. In true Wiki fashion, all you have to do is sign up (to control spam bots and other crap) and post your Wiki.
However, being an open network for you to build an information site about your production, there are some rules that you should check out here (https://filmfervor.com/wiki/film-fervor-wiki/) it’s not much, but it protects both Film Fervor and your own intellectual property.
I want this to be something that filmmakers use to build up awareness about their films and the people they work with. If you have any thoughts, comments, or suggestions that can make the Wiki a better environment for filmmakers, please let me know in the comments below or email me.
All you need to do is log-in, go to the Wiki page and press “Create New” to start building your independent film wiki. Keep in mind, they will be moderated and fact-checked to ensure that the information provided is accurate and relevant to that film. Like I said before, spamming or garbage won’t be tolerated and I’ll just ban you from the site if you insist on being a troll.
Enjoy!
