Film Fervor: Episode 67 – Angel and Mysti Cozart

GYPSI TV SERIES

Today, I am joined by Angel and Mysti Cozart, the writers and creators behind the Phenom known as Gypsi, and they are here today to talk about the show, the latest updates and the amazing support we’ve been getting.

Now, I’ve been working with these two to build this empire and we’ve seen a few setbacks and some amazing turnouts. One of the things I wanted to address right away is the whole “Soul Celebration” Gypsi-Convention that’s been going around.

Initially, we wanted to do a small scale convention in the town we are considering shooting the pilot in, to bring awareness and connectivity to the show and our amazing fans. What started out as a little, almost “side-show” convention has evolved into a massive, multi-structure event that already has over 50,000 people wanting to attend.

We initially wanted to have it in October of 2015, when we set our goal to shoot the pilot episode, so we could use that as a way to have all of the actors, creators and staff together to mingle with the fans. But, again, it blossomed from a small scale event into a full sized convention. We now have dozens of vendors, dozens of other productions, tens of thousands of fans and a massive audience of people that we need to find a place for.

So, to give an answer to all of the questions and comments that are going around on various social media platforms, the “Gypsi-Con, Soul Celebration” will have to be pushed back until sometime in 2016. We, the production staff and creators of Gypsi, simply cannot organize such a large undertaking by ourselves and especially under such extremely short notices.

This does not mean we are cancelling it, only that we are pushing it back a little bit so we can ensure the quality of the convention, the convenience of location and the safety of everyone in attendance.
But, that all being said, those are wonderful problems to have!
