When I first read the title, I assumed that this was going to be a kids movie or a simple fantasy tale about treasure, pirates or Disney related elements but what I found was a heartfelt story of an estranged brother and sister who must put aside their differences in order to solve an elaborate treasure hunt, left for them in the will of their eccentric father.
I spoke with Casey Nelson and Kate Murdoch, creators and actors in the feature film about their journey into this business and what the film meant to them.
The film itself is a rather heavy tale about what happens when someone you love dies and how you are left to pick up the pieces once they are gone.
